Suzuki GT750 fork brace

This shows some of the setups involved in making my fork brace, took quite a few hours machining, which I could speed up a little if I make anymore.

Suzuki GT750 fork braceFacing of the two mating faces on the fork clamps, drilling and tap the 2 inner clamps while I drill and counter bore the outer two clamps ready for the allen bolts.

Suzuki GT750 fork braceCan just make out the heads of the M8 allen bolts, calculated the depth to go, so then machining the outside profile the cutter just misses the head. Fingers crossed

Suzuki GT750 fork braceNot using the standard dust seals but trying a lower profiled set as they are long enough to pass through the fork brace and just fit in the end of the lower leg which will stop any moisture entering the fork bottom where the two clamps fit together, as there is often a small gap.
