Suzuki GT750

This is what I am currently or have been working on recently, I usually have several half finished things on the go.

No really updating this page anymore, but kept it to show work done in the past as most items here have been finished.

Click the images below for full sized pictures most are around 1200 x 900

Suzuki GT750 stainless engine bracketsStainless steel engine brackets. Stainless M8 square nuts welded on the back, brake light switch facing down.

Suzuki GT750 stainless seat lock partsHave had machined up some stainless steel replacement parts for the seat lock. The hole in the latch and back plate are slightly smaller as they were always sloppy fit on the original.

Suzuki GT750 stainless seat lock partsFitted a set to my seat lock, no chance of rust. I have these parts on e-bay, or please email me for a price if you are interested.

Suzuki GT750 stainless carb bracketsHave had machined up some stainless steel carb brackets. They just need a threaded nut welded on the back for throttle cable, and the fingers bent slightly for the other cable.

Suzuki GT750 stainless carb bracketsBoth brackets then need to be sanded and polished.

Suzuki GT750 Allspeed exhaustsPolished and ready for chroming, I was intending on getting it triple chromed but told by the platers the copper plating that is put on first may blister so need to polish the mild steel to remove any pitting.

Suzuki GT750 front brake dust seal ring Machined the brake caliper dust seal ring from stainless, the original one was bent and rusty so had to go.

Suzuki GT750 front brake pistonThe brake caliper piston is made from stainless with a brass cap. Piston hollowed out and within 10 grams of original piston.

Suzuki GT750 front brake piston Press fitted the brass cap in to the piston. Total weight is 180g some other third party solid stainless pistons are 280g or more per piston, but could easily get a bit lower.
